Vortrag am 12. Juni 2021, ca. 10.00 Uhr
The accurate transfer to a naturally beautiful emergence profile requires both surgical skills and skills in dental technology.
The skills and competencies of the prosthodontist unite both disciplines. It is inevitable, though, that the medical part is involved in the possibilities and challenges of the dental technician and, at the same time, the dental technician deals with the biology and behavior of the peri-implant soft tissue. After all, to a significant degree the treatment success of implant prosthetic anterior restorations is measured by the look or the sulcular course of the gingiva.
In reality, the volume of the implant restoration often deviates from the natural model. Therefore, everything must be done to avoid or compensate this discrepancy.
